FX Candle Range Theory
Candle range theory reads a bigger candle as a range: price takes one side of it, then works back through it. This marker draws the range candle as a box on the chart below it, and marks when one side has been taken and price has closed back in.
This is a marker. It draws on your chart and does not trade: it places no orders, closes nothing, and sends nothing to your broker.

What it draws
- The range candle as a box, on the lower timeframe
- Which side was taken
- The other end of the range, which is what the idea aims at
What it does not do
These are charting tools. They draw a concept on your chart and nothing else: they place no trades, send no signals and make no promise about results. Our own tests of these concepts on gold, published free under Research, found no edge after costs. What they buy you is the same reading every session, drawn the same way, so you are not marking it by hand.
The evidence on this concept
We tested candle range theory (crt) on nine years of gold with real spread charged on every trade, and published all of it, free: read the candle range theory (crt) research. Read it before you buy. The marker draws the concept; it does not make it work.
