Position size calculator
Work out the position size in lots that puts a fixed percentage of your account at risk over a given stop distance, with no account and no sign up.
Free, no account, no sign up. It runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How it works: risk amount = balance x risk percent / 100, then lots = risk amount / (stop in pips x pip value per lot)
A position size is the answer to one question: if this stop is hit, how much money leaves the account. Fix that number first and the size follows from arithmetic rather than from a feeling about the setup.
Enter the balance, the percentage you are willing to lose on the trade, the distance from entry to stop in pips, and what one pip is worth per lot in your account currency. For any pair quoted in US dollars, such as EURUSD, on a US dollar account, one pip per standard lot is 10. If you are not sure, the pip value calculator works it out.
Everything runs in this page. Nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored, and you do not need an account.

Questions
What percentage should I put in?
That is your decision and it depends on your own limits. This page calculates whatever number you enter and does not recommend one.
What is pip value per lot?
What one pip of movement is worth in your account currency on one standard lot. On a US dollar account trading a pair quoted in US dollars it is 10. On other pairs it depends on the exchange rate, which the pip value calculator handles.
Does it account for spread, swap or commission?
No. It sizes the position against the stop distance you enter. Costs sit on top of that, and the cost of a trade is its own question.

A calculator, not financial advice. It works out what a number is and says nothing about what to trade. Trading carries a risk of loss.
